BB Photo + Film
Rapid City, South Dakota
Why we ranked them
Why we chose BB Photo + Film
Run as a husband-and-wife team, BB Photo + Film offers a dedicated Fresh 48 session alongside standard newborn photography, giving Rapid City families the choice between hospital-based images taken within the first two days or a later, more settled at-home session. That two-person structure means a couple can sometimes split coverage, one shooting photo while the other manages video, without pulling in a second outside vendor. Maternity and family sessions round out the pregnancy-through-infancy timeline, while senior and wedding photography extend the business into other life stages entirely. The team describes its approach as prioritizing authentic emotional moments over stiff perfection, language that shows up consistently across both their wedding and family-oriented marketing. Being always willing to travel means families outside Rapid City proper aren't automatically excluded from booking. For parents who like the idea of a two-person team covering both stills and video during a Fresh 48 hospital visit, that combined photo-and-film structure is a genuine point of difference from single-photographer studios.
