Why we ranked them

Why we chose Brooke Christl Photography

Brooke Christl runs a dedicated newborn studio out of a unit on Azalea Court in Myrtle Beach, with published packages starting at $600 and a recommended booking window of seven to eleven days after birth — a narrower, more specific target than the general two-week guidance many photographers give. Sessions are scheduled to run two to three hours, enough time to work through multiple poses and setups without rushing a sleepy infant through a tight appointment slot. A five-star rating built from thirteen reviews suggests a track record with a meaningful number of past clients rather than just a handful of early bookings. Working from a fixed studio location — described as quiet and spacious — rather than traveling to homes gives Brooke consistent control over lighting and temperature session after session, which matters more in newborn work than in almost any other portrait category given how sensitive very young infants are to their environment. The studio's Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand service area covers the core coastal market rather than stretching thin across a wider region.
