Icarus Image

Icarus Image is run out of Scranton by photographer Bryan, whose business name doubles as its own positioning statement: 'Scranton Wedding Photography and Lifestyle.' That dual focus — weddings alongside broader lifestyle photography — means the studio brings a slightly different eye to wedding coverage than photographers who only ever shoot weddings; portraits and engagement sessions tend to carry a relaxed, editorial quality closer to lifestyle photography than to traditional wedding formalwork. The studio's portfolio spans a substantial archive of NEPA wedding and engagement galleries, giving prospective couples an unusually large body of work to review before booking — useful for anyone trying to gauge consistency across different venues, seasons, and lighting conditions rather than judging a photographer off a handful of highlight images. Being based directly in Scranton means Bryan works the city's venues regularly enough to know timing, lighting, and logistics without needing a walkthrough in advance, which can save planning time for couples working with tight wedding-day schedules. Prospective clients can reach the studio directly by phone, a small but meaningful detail for couples who prefer talking through their day with an actual photographer during the planning stages rather than exchanging only emails or working through a booking platform's messaging system.
