Why we ranked them
Why we chose Kandi Anderson Photography
Kandi Anderson Photography LLC runs a dedicated newborn studio out of Carlin, Nevada, described on its own listing as just a short twenty-minute drive from Elko, which makes it a realistic option for Elko families rather than a distant referral. The business is built specifically around newborn and maternity work rather than treating babies as one category among many, and it operates from what its own materials call a "cute and quaint" newborn studio rather than a general-purpose portrait space. The studio states a philosophy of quality over quantity, putting weight on a smaller number of well-made images and physical prints rather than handing over a huge, unedited digital dump. As an LLC with a fixed studio address at 305 School St in Carlin, it reads as an established, ongoing local business rather than a side hustle. For Elko-area parents willing to make the short drive to Carlin, Kandi Anderson offers a newborn specialist whose whole practice is built around this one stage of a baby's life rather than being a wedding or event photographer who also shoots babies on the side.
