Katelyn K Photography

Katelyn Kuttab has run her newborn, maternity, family, and childhood portrait studio from Stiles Road in Salem since well before many newer photographers entered the local market, with a portfolio going back to 2015 that shows a consistent organic, earthy aesthetic rather than a style that has shifted with each passing trend. She describes photography as a way of creating one-of-a-kind artwork out of life's most precious moments, language that reflects a personal, hands-on approach rather than a high-volume studio model. Her newborn portfolio favors soft, warm tones and simple, uncluttered poses, letting a baby's features stay the visual focus rather than competing with heavy props or elaborate backdrops. As a mother and wife herself, Katelyn brings a first-hand understanding of the newborn stage to how she paces a session, an advantage that shows up in reviews describing sessions as calm and unhurried. Serving both Salem and the greater Boston, Massachusetts area, Katelyn K Photography's long operating history is a genuine point of difference for parents wary of newer, unproven studios.
