Piggott Hill Graphics and Photos

Piggott Hill Graphics and Photos is based in Rochester, New Hampshire. That range means a Rochester-area family booking a newborn session with Lianne has an established, single photographer to return to for a child's senior portraits down the road.

Beyond photography, the business also handles graphic design and logo creation, a second skill set that shows up in a more considered, deliberately composed visual style than a straight point-and-shoot approach.

For Rochester parents who want a newborn photographer with real institutional training behind the camera rather than a self-taught hobbyist, Lianne's photojournalism education and multi-decade local track record are the clearest points of difference.

Piggott Hill Graphics and Photos ranks No. 4 for newborn photography among the Rochester studios we reviewed for 2026. Their 2 Google reviews (5.0 stars) outnumber 6 of the 8 other studios we compared. Rankings are earned through research and can't be bought.

Owner Lianne Thurlow founded the studio in 1994 while she was still a student at UNH, making it one of the longer-running photography businesses serving the Rochester area.

Yes, newborn and cake smash sessions are grouped together as one dedicated category on the studio's site, letting families book both a baby's earliest days and their first-birthday milestone with the same photographer.

The studio also covers seniors, headshots, sports, weddings, family portraits, pets, school photos, and graphic design or logo work.

The studio is based in Milton, New Hampshire, a short drive from Rochester.
