Tara Vigil Photography

Tara Vigil Photography runs a straightforward portrait practice in Farmington, with newborn sessions listed right alongside family, individual, senior, and children's portraits rather than as a specialty tacked onto a wedding-focused business. The studio has built a genuinely local following, with well over a thousand followers and a run of five-star reviews from San Juan County clients rather than an out-of-town operation dropping in occasionally.

Recent work shown publicly leans toward weddings and events at local venues, but the studio's own description is explicit that portrait work, including newborn sessions, is a standing part of what's offered, not a one-time favor. Booking happens directly through the studio's Facebook page or by phone, which fits a smaller, community-based operation that relies on local word of mouth rather than a big marketing budget.

For Farmington families who want a newborn photographer already trusted locally for a range of portrait work, rather than someone who only shoots newborns in isolation, Tara Vigil Photography is a legitimate option worth including on a shortlist.
