Why we ranked them

Why we chose Wild Sage Photography

Billie Sappington runs Wild Sage Photography directly out of Roswell, and her own Instagram bio lays out the focus in five words: family, mamas, tiny toes, and big love. That mix of family and newborn-adjacent work sits alongside a growing senior representative program, giving the business a broad enough base to stay busy year-round while still carving out real space for baby and family sessions in the desert light she's built her aesthetic around. As a smaller, locally based operation, Wild Sage doesn't carry the review volume of an established multi-decade studio, but that also means a more personal, direct relationship with clients -- something that matters to families who'd rather work with someone who lives in Roswell year-round than a photographer passing through on a tour date. For parents drawn to a softer, warm-desert-light style over a more traditional studio look, Wild Sage Photography offers a genuinely local option.
